Jennifer Brady is a writer from Dublin, Ireland and has stories published in The Stinging Fly, Southword Journal, Tell Tales Volume 4, Incorrigibly Plural and These Are Our Lives. She has non-fiction published in A Grand Gallimaufry.
Jennifer graduated with an MPhil in Writing from Trinity College, Dublin, 2007. She has written and directed a one-act monologue, performed in Players Theatre, TCD as part of New Writers’ Week 2006. She was selected for the ‘Short Short Story’ Series by Dave Eggers in The Guardian 2004 and shortlisted for by the late editor David Marcus for the Sean O’Faolain Short Story Competition 2003.
Jennifer was a winner of the inaugural Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair Competition 2012 for her first novel and received a Literary Bursary Award from the Arts Council in 2010-11 for the same work. She is represented by literary agent Marianne Gunne O’Connor and is currently writing Book 2 while finalising her first indie published title Gnaw. Jennifer divides her time between family, writing, work and music.
